Producer Cameron Mackintosh recently announced that the newly revitalized production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA will launch a new multi-year North American tour from Baltimore's historic Hippodrome Theatre in November 2025.  ​​This new North American tour will not only premiere here in Charm City, but it will also utilize Maryland’s Theatrical Production Tax Credit program.

As many well-renowned set designers already know, the design of a set must be able to support the performance’s narrative, which is the essential element in storytelling. No one knows this more than Daniel Ettinger, Everyman Theatre's Resident Set Designer. Ettinger has created scenic designs for over 260 productions for New York and regional theatre companies. Since 1996, he has designed extensively at professional theatres in the Baltimore/Washington area. Audiences can see his current designs in "POTUS" running at Everyman Theatre through Sunday, September 29th.  Ettinger recently chatted about his creative process, the challenges set designers face, and what makes being part of the Everyman Theatre a unique experience.

​Running through Sunday, June 9th, Everyman Theatre presents William Shakespeare’s beloved comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, with a dynamic ensemble cast of 12 seasoned actors who are no strangers to Shakespeare. Directed by Everyman Associate Artistic Director, Noah Himmelstein, and adapted by Gavin Witt, Himmelstein leans into the strengths and bonds of the Everyman Resident Company by casting it a little differently by skewing the ages of the young lovers. Everyman Resident Company Member Zack Powell recently chatted about his dual roles as Puck and Philostrate in the performance, his background as a performer, and the power theater has on Everyman audiences.
